Dinah Weststrate, licensed clinical social worker, is a dedicated and compassionate clinical social worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. therapeutic practice. She earned her bachelor's in social work from Saginaw Valley State University, where she developed a strong foundation in human behavior and social systems. She furthered her expertise by earning a master's degree at Michigan State University, further refining her clinical expertise. Dinah takes a client-centered approach to therapy, recognizing each individual’s unique strengths and experiences. She integrates a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamics, and sex therapy, tailoring her methods to best support her clients’ needs. Passionate about fostering a safe and supportive environment, Dinah helps individuals work through a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship dynamics, sexual health, gender identity, and medical or mental health conditions. Committed to professional growth and evidence-based practice, Dinah completed the Sexual Health Certification Program at the University of Michigan in 2024, enhancing her expertise in sexual health and intimacy-related concerns. Her compassionate, holistic approach fosters a safe and supportive environment, empowering individuals to explore their emotions, strengthen their relationships, and develop effective coping strategies.
